Trump inauguration boasts biggest crowd inside The Capitol Building*

WASHINGTON – Donald Trump was inaugurated today at the US Capitol. Organisers commented that the event has attracted the largest indoor crowd at the building in recent memory. [1]

The ceremony marked Trump’s return to office following a campaign in which he pledged to restore American greatness, crack down on dissent, and revisit several unresolved grievances. Supporters are welcoming a return to normalcy after four dull years under the previous administration.

In his inaugural address Trump outlined policy priorities, including renaming the Gulf of Mexico to ‘Gulf of America’ and restoring Denali’s original name, Mount McKinley, while praising the late president’s leadership and support for tariffs.

While the number was high, some supporters expressed disappointment at the absence of certain familiar figures. The “QAnon Shaman” was not present, nor were other notable participants from the January 6, 2021 gathering.

Organisers said the atmosphere was calm and orderly, and confirmed that no unscheduled tours occurred.
