9th June 2024: Weekly Crypto Trends
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum encounter the tops of ranges.
Secondary coins generally go lower on the week with a notable exception in BNB which rallies by 15%, making new highs. On the negative side, Chainlink was down 11.4%. Fantom was down 9% and Thorchain down 8.6%.
Secondary coins maintain a split technical profile with 7 coins with positive trend scores and 11 with negative trend scores. However, within those with positive scores, several now form short term tops, including Solana, Near and Fantom, Near, Avalanche and Thorchain.
Crypto related equities were better on the week, with a rally of 11 in Hive and 8% in Coinbase. Both test the top of their short term ranges
