Australian nerd Craig Wright wants to take the credit for the invention of Bitcoin, and asserts that he actually IS the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto… But spookily, when asked to provide evidence …he can’t provide any… So: do we believe him… or not?
In the meantime, Planet Crypto has offered him a weekly column, in which he asks you to believe – or not – other fantastical stories from his odditorium…
Greetings, Quirk Lovers.
Today, I want to tell you the story of Francisco Lentini.
Lentini was a hugely popular 19th century circus showman known for having three legs and four feet. His remarkable physique was the result of being born with a parasitic twin attached to his hip.
Lentini’s act included playing football with his third leg and he was so popular, fans dubbed him “The King.”
Lentini died in 1966 at the age of 77.
But, friends, what is even more extraordinary is…
…I am Francisco Lentini. That was me. I did those amazing things. And I will sue anyone who doesn’t believe me. Understand? Good.
…Till next time, oddity lovers.
