Australian nerd Craig Wright wants to take the credit for the invention of Bitcoin, and asserts that he actually IS the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto… But spookily, when asked to provide evidence …he can’t provide any… So: do we believe him… or not?
In the meantime, Planet Crypto has offered him a weekly column, in which he asks you to believe – or not – other fantastical stories from his odditorium…
Greetings, Quirk Lovers.
Today, I want to tell you the story of Indian man, Chandre Oraon – who is known as “The Monkey God” due to the 14.5 inch tail growing out of his back.
Locals believe the incredible 43-year-old is the reincarnation of the Hindu monkey God, Hanuman, and will queue for hours to touch his tail in the belief it will cure their ailments and bring them good fortune.
Oraon is also able to climb trees effortlessly, further enhancing the legend that he is divine.
But, friends, what is even more extraordinary is…
…I am Chandre Oraon. That was me. I did those impressive things.
…I did. Right?
And if you dare to question me, I will sue you. Understand? Good.
…Till next time, oddity lovers.
