Subeditors across the world of financial journalism all made the same wordplay this week, as DefiLlama erupted in civil war. As the members of the TVL aggregator publicly disagreed as to whether to release a token, over 15000 subeditors all headed their stories with the words ‘Llama Drama.’
A reader explained the apparent coincidence: ‘The words ‘Drama’ and ‘Llama’ rhyme, see?’
He continued, ‘From Oklahoma to Fukuyama, not since Obama killed Osama has there been such a melodrama.’
Meanwhile a fruit-eating Buddhist Leader also called for peace, whilst a 90s footballing legend, alerted by the brouhaha, stopped listening to 90s music in his bedclothes.
In short, the Dalai Lama called for Karma as he ate a banana; whilst Carlos Valderama in his pyjamas, disturbed by the palaver, stopped listening to Bananarama and Robert Palmer.
Both the Dalai Lama and Valderama returned to watch Futurama, before being killed by Jeffrey Dahmer.
The Subeditors were unavailable for comment, as they were too busy trying to crowbar the word ‘diorama’ into their copy.
