Binance founder, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, has been showing off his new pet on social media.

“This is Sam the poodle”, CZ proudly told followers. “I rescued him yesterday.”

Sam was apparently in a bad way until CZ decided to give him a home.

“He was very sick. Could barely stand on his own. Luckily we were able to give him an injection and he’s picked up.”

Sam had tried to pick a fight with a bigger dog, but came off second best, and was badly wounded.

“That’s the thing with these smaller dogs. They think they can be leader of the pack. Until an alpha dog puts them in their place. He’s a been a lot calmer though since I had him neutered.”

The only problem CZ has encountered is teaching Sam the Poodle some commands. Generally he does whatever I tell him. He’s especially good at begging. But when I say, “FETCH!”, he thinks I’m saying, “FTX!” and then he hides under the sofa.
